Hyderabad, June 25 -- Nalgonda Speed Strikers and Warangal Stallions recorded convincing wins in their respective matches on Day 6 of the Telangana Junior Basketball League (TJBL) being held at the Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium (KVRIS), Yousufguda, here on Wednesday.
The league, touted as Telangana's first professional basketball tournament for junior players, is being conducted till June 28, with matches scheduled daily from 5 pm to 10 pm.
In the Under-15 Girls category, Nalgonda Speed Strikers put up a disciplined performance to defeat Hyderabad Hurricanes 54-42.
The winners maintained their lead for most of the match to secure an important victory in the competition.
