Nagpur, Sept. 3 -- : In view of the upcoming festive season, the Nagpur Police have prohibited the use of high-decibel and modified sound systems, along with beam and laser lighting equipment, across the city until November 1 to maintain public order and ensure safety.
The order, issued by Police Commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), will come into effect on September 4 and remain in force till 11:59 pm on November 1.
