Nagpur, April 20 -- A director associated with a non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Nagpur has been arrested for allegedly pressuring young Hindu women employees to follow certain Muslim religious customs and subjecting them to harassment, police said on Monday.

The accused, identified as Riyaz Kazi (48), is linked to NGOs named 'Fikar Foundation' and 'Padhe Hum Padaye Hum'.

Riyaz Kazi allegedly forced Hindu employees to offer namaz daily and observe roza.

According to police, multiple Hindu women employees accused him of threatening and coercing them to adopt religious practices associated with him.
