Nagpur, July 10 -- : The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has detained 10 persons for allegedly establishing contact with Pakistan-based gangster Shahzad Bhatti network through social media, officials said on Friday.

According to ATS sources, the detained persons include four from Nagpur, three from Chandrapur and one each from Gondia, Gadchiroli and Wardha districts and they were detained on Thursday night.

They are suspected of communicating with members of the Pakistan-based organised crime syndicate through social media platforms.

In Pakistan , the gangs of Shahzad Bhatti and Rana Unain are involved in organised criminal activities.
