Bengaluru, Aug. 29 -- The resignation of B Nagendra from the Karnataka Cabinet may not mark the end of his political influence. Instead, the former minister could be headed for a significant political rehabilitation, with his name doing the rounds for the chairmanship of the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB), a position that could give him a far wider political canvas than his ministerial tenure.

Nagendra is being considered for the post that fell vacant following the exit of Ajay Singh, according to Congress sources.
