Dimapur, July 14 -- The Nagaland state taxes department, Dimapur unit, carried out a two-day field inspection at various business establishments in Dimapur district as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen GST compliance, promote awareness among traders and vendors, and verify business activities at the ground level.
The inspection was conducted from Monday by a team of officers led by the deputy commissioner of state taxes Chievitshu Nyuthe.
During the inspection, the officials verified the issuance of GST bills and invoices by registered vendors, conducted stock verification, reviewed business activities, and examined GST registration details to ensure compliance with the provisions of the NGST Act.
