Dimapur, June 16 -- Nagaland today joined the rest of the country in the self-enumeration phase of Census 2027, with Governor Nand Kishore Yadav appealing to the people of the state to actively take part in this historic national exercise on the theme "My Census, My Development".
Participating in the exercise at Lok Bhavan in Kohima, Yadav said for the first time, citizens can enumerate their households online during the self-enumeration period from June 16 to June 30, marking a significant step toward a more citizen-centric and digitally enabled census process.
He said Census 2027 is being conducted in a fully digital mode, making the exercise more efficient, inclusive and accessible.
