Dimapur, Oct. 29 -- Consul at the Consulate General of the United States of America in Kolkata, Noah Hogan, paid a courtesy visit to Kohima deputy commissioner B Henok Buchem.
During the visit on Wednesday, Hogan briefed Buchen on the upcoming planned visit of the US Ambassador to Nagaland for the Hornbill Festival, an official report said today.
During the meeting, Hogan said the US Consulate General in Kolkata oversees a vast jurisdiction covering Jharkhand, Bihar, and the entire Northeast India region, primarily focusing on the welfare and safety of American citizens visiting these areas.
