Dimapur, May 27 -- Kohima Sr. SP Krodi Rhetso today said adequate police personnel have been deployed to ensure the safety of stranded drivers as a large number of heavy vehicles remain stranded along National Highway-2 under Kohima district, bordering Manipur, due to the ongoing economic blockades imposed by both Kuki and Naga organisations in the neighbouring state.
He appealed to the public and media to refrain from spreading provocative messages on social media that could disturb peace and harmony in the district.
