Dimapur, March 24 -- The Dimapur DC's office has constituted a district-level committee to monitor the distribution of cooking gas cylinders and other petroleum products and to curb hoarding, black marketing, and overpricing.

The committee has been formed to ensure strict enforcement of regulations and to prevent malpractices in the supply and distribution system.

In an order, Dimapur DC Tinojongshi Chang said the ADC of the district will serve as the convener of the committee, while the other members include the DCP, district civil supplies officer, assistant controller of legal metrology, extra assistant commissioner (Sadar), state level coordinator of IOCL, senior depot manager of IOCL Dimapur, and field officer of BPCL.
