Mysuru, Sept. 8 -- A 16-year-old student was allegedly punched in the eye by his teacher at a school in Mysuru, leaving him with a blood clot and triggering a police case following a complaint by his family, police said on Tuesday.
The student, identified as Rehan Shareef, is currently out of danger, according to the family.
The complaint alleged that the teacher assaulted the boy and later threatened him with a transfer certificate (TC) and removal from the school if he spoke about the incident.
