Mysuru (Karnataka), June 15 -- Two people were killed and seven others sustained serious injuries after a fire broke out in a bar and restaurant in Mysuru city's RT Nagar area on Monday evening, police said.
According to officials, the mishap occurred at Fox Den Liquor Garage Bar and Restaurant near Ring Road in Dattagalli, allegedly due to a short circuit. The blaze quickly spread inside the kitchen area, trapping staff and customers as thick smoke engulfed the premises.
Two kitchen staff members, identified as Sahil and Prakash, died in the mishap. Around 25 people were present inside the establishment at the time of the fire.
