New Delhi, May 29 -- The President of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing will be paying a five-day official visit to India from May 30, in his first visit to India in his current capacity.
President Min Aung Hlaing was earlier scheduled to visit India to participate in the International Big Cat Alliance Summit on June 1, which has since been deferred. He is now visiting India from May 30 to June 3, at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising several Cabinet Ministers, senior officials and business leaders. This will be the first visit of President Min Aung Hlaing to India since his inauguration as president on April 10.
