New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 15 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Wednesday said his political fight was against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's policies and governance, but his larger battle was for protecting Telangana's interests.

Speaking informally with mediapersons during his visit to New Delhi, KTR alleged that the Chief Minister was trying to divert public attention from the Congress government's failures by continuously targeting the BRS. He questioned why Revanth Reddy attacked the BRS daily despite claiming that the party had become politically irrelevant and also criticised the Congress leadership for remaining silent over the Chief Minister's remarks on farmers.
