Mumbai, May 20 -- Amid growing nationwide concerns over the deletion of names from voter lists under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, a high-level delegation of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders met with election officials today to demand complete transparency and prevent the disenfranchisement of eligible voters.
Following the extensive meeting with Maharashtra's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) S. Chockalingam, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray termed the discussions "positive" but cautioned that citizens must remain highly vigilant to ensure no legitimate voter is left out in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
