Mumbai, June 21 -- The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) on Sunday announced a boycott of the customary tea party hosted by the state government on the eve of the legislative assembly session, citing the administration's "failure and insensitive attitude" toward pressing public issues.
In a joint press conference, senior MVA leaders accused the ruling Mahayuti government of neglecting the state's critical problems, including the agrarian crisis, rising crime against women, deteriorating law and order, and the expanding network of narcotics.
