Mumbai, Aug. 5 -- Colaba Police have arrested a 13-year absconding woman in connection with a house burglary case registered at Colaba Police Station in 2013, bringing a long-pending investigation a step closer to its conclusion, police said on Wednesday.
The accused, identified as Manjula Pramod Surve, had allegedly been evading arrest since the registration of the case and was wanted under Sections 380 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
According to police, the case pertains to a house burglary reported in 2013 within the jurisdiction of Colaba Police Station. Despite efforts to trace the accused, Surve remained untraceable for several years.
