Mumbai, Aug. 17 -- Mumbai's seven lakes recorded a marginal fall in water reserves on Monday, with the combined useful live storage standing at 92.16 per cent of their total capacity, according to data released by the Hydraulic Engineer's Department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The water bodies had a combined stock of 13,33,884 million litres as of 0600 hours on August 17, against their total useful live storage capacity of 14,47,363 million litres.
The overall storage level was 92.16 per cent, down slightly from 92.24 per cent recorded a day earlier.
Vihar and Modak Sagar continued to remain at full capacity, holding 27,698 million litres and 1,28,925 million litres of water respectively.
