Mumbai, Aug. 13 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a Yellow Alert for Mumbai, forecasting heavy rainfall at isolated places, thunderstorms and gusty winds as monsoon activity remains vigorous over the city and adjoining areas.
The weather office has forecast generally cloudy skies with moderate to heavy showers during the day. Temperatures are expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius, with the minimum at 27 degrees Celsius. Gusty winds of 40-50 kmph, occasionally reaching 50-60 kmph during intense spells, are likely.
