Mumbai, July 29 -- Mumbai is likely to witness generally cloudy skies with intermittent light rain on Wednesday, while isolated areas may receive moderate to heavy showers accompanied by gusty winds, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The weather office maintained a green alert for the city, indicating no warning and normal weather conditions despite the possibility of localized heavy showers.
Maximum temperatures are forecast to range between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius, with high humidity likely to push the heat index, or "feels like" temperature, to around 35-36 degrees Celsius, the IMD said.
Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 40-50 kmph, with gusts reaching up to 60 kmph during rain spells.
