Mumbai, Aug. 10 -- Mumbai's suburban train services were affected during the Monday morning peak hours after technical failures were reported at Vasai Road, Dadar and Goregaon, disrupting train movements on key sections of the network.
The glitches affected fast services as well as operations on the Harbour line, leading to delays and inconvenience to a large number of office-bound commuters.
The disruptions during the peak-hour rush resulted in crowding at several suburban stations as passengers waited for delayed services or opted for alternative trains.
Railway authorities initiated efforts to attend to the technical faults and restore normal train operations at the affected locations.
