Mumbai, June 10 -- In a first of its kind the Maharashtra's Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratories has, deployed a field forensic team to investigate the suspected killing of a stray dog from a high-profile housing society in Malad, officials said on Wednesday.
The probe centres on "Mikey", a community dog that went missing from Raheja Exotica in Madh on May 29. Actor Sanket Kadam, a resident of the society, lodged a written complaint with Malvani police on Saturday, following which an FIR was registered, police said.
According to Kadam's statement, fellow actor and resident Manjari Phadnis had informed him about Mikey's disappearance. Both circulated missing alerts in the society's WhatsApp groups but received no information. Kadam...
