Mumbai, June 3 -- Moderate showers lashed several parts of Mumbai on Wednesday morning, bringing respite from humid weather conditions while causing traffic snarls in some low-lying areas.
Rainfall was reported across South Mumbai, Bandra, Mulund and Mira Road during the early hours, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms occurring under cloudy skies. According to weather forecasts, the city is expected to witness a few more spells of rain during the first half of the day, followed by partly cloudy conditions later.
The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 33degC and 35degC, while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 29degC. Humidity levels were recorded at 78 per cent.
