Mumbai/Pune, Sept. 3 -- "A bullet train corridor between Mumbai and Pune will be developed soon," union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, highlighting plans to significantly reduce travel time between the two major Maharashtra cities.

Speaking to the media, Vaishnaw stated, "The proposed corridor will make it possible for people to travel between Mumbai and Pune even twice a day, quipping that one could go to Mumbai for vada pav and Pune for bakharwadi."He added, "The government has been working towards creating faster and more convenient rail connectivity between the two cities."Vaishnaw also said that, "The government has been expanding railway services during the Ganesh festival."He recalled that he had promised more than 300 spec...
