Mumbai , Aug. 14 -- The Mumbai police Crime Branch CID has confirmed through forensic analysis that the voice in threatening audio messages sent to NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui belongs to wanted accused Zeeshan Akhtar, a key accused in the murder case of former minister Baba Siddique, official sources said on Friday.
The Anti-Extortion Cell (AEC) of the Crime Branch has taken over the investigation and launched a detailed probe into the threats, sources said.
