Mumbai, June 24 -- The accused in the murder of a passenger aboard a Mumbai suburban train has been arrested by the Borivali Government Railway Police (GRP), officials said on Wednesday.

According to the GRP, the accused, identified as Roshan Suvarn (30), fled after allegedly stabbing a fellow passenger to death inside a first-class compartment of a Western Railway local train on Monday night.

Police said Suvarn got off at Borivali station after the incident and boarded another local train to Kurla, where he went into hiding while allegedly planning to flee to Uttar Pradesh.
