Mumbai, April 20 -- Days after two MBA students died following suspected party drug consumption and alcohol overdose during a concert in Mumbai, the city police has decided to set up special squads to monitor live shows and music concerts, officials said on Monday.

According to Additional Commissioner of Police (West Region) Paramjit Singh Dahiya has asked police units to deploy special squads to prevent drug consumtion, molestation and theft at venues hosting large gatherings.

Each squad will consist of two teams, with one officer and four constables per team. The anti-eveteasing squad will include a woman officer.
