Mumbai, July 13 -- A 30-year-old man was found dead under the Times of India Bridge in the Malad area of city subarb with Dindoshi Police launching a probe into suspected hit-and-run.
According to Dindoshi Police, the deceased has been identified as Suresh Salunkhe. His body was discovered around midnight on Monday near the bridge in the eastern part of Malad.
Police officials said Salunkhe sustained severe injuries, including fractures to both legs and his shoulder, along with visible trauma marks.
The body has been sent to a government hospital for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
