Bhubaneswar, April 13 -- A series of tragic incidents across Odisha on Sunday night left several people dead and many injured, highlighting growing concerns over road safety and infrastructure hazards.
In one major accident near Oupada under Korei police limits in Jajpur district, a private college bus carrying over 50 students was hit by a heavy vehicle.
One person, identified as the driver of the heavy vehicle, died in the crash, while 15 others sustained injuries, some of them critical. Among the seriously injured were a teacher, the bus driver, and a student.
