Imphal, May 28 -- : The Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) observed International Menstrual Hygiene Day today under the theme "Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld" at the ST Girls' Hostel, Adimjati Shiksha Ashram, Imphal.
The function was presided over by the MSCW Chairperson, Th. Tiningpham Monsang, Member S.K. Sophia, and Member Secretary and Additional Director of DIPR Manipur, W. Phajatombi Devi.
Addressing the gathering, Chairperson Th. Tiningpham Monsang emphasised that beyond handling women-related cases, the Commission regularly conducts awareness programmes, seminars and outreach activities across the state.
