Wellington (Nilgiris district, July 26 -- The Madras Regimental Centre (MRC), Wellington commemorated the 27th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas with full military honours on Sunday, paying solemn tribute to the courage, valour and supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War.
MRC Commandant Brig Krishnendu Das led the wreath laying ceremony and Memorial Parade at the War Memorial.
The ceremony reflected the Centre's enduring commitment to honouring the legacy of the Kargil heroes and preserving the cherished traditions of remembrance and military service, a defence release said.
