Pune, Sept. 27 -- In a major breakthrough for the state's competitive exam aspirants, the Pune Police have formally granted permission for the high-stakes 'Student Satyagraha' scheduled for October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti).

Originally slated for an earlier date, the protest was deferred following high-level discussions with Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar due to security constraints surrounding the conclusion of Ganeshotsav.

The peaceful agitation will now take place near the S M Joshi Bridge, adjacent to the Patrakar Bhavan in Pune.

The Core Demands: Aspirants are demanding immediate systemic transparency, action on evaluation discrepancies, and the removal of the MPSC chairman over allegations of corruption and paper leaks.
