Itanagar, July 2 -- Newly elected Rajya Sabha Member Tai Tagak received a warm welcome from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Arunachal Pradesh, upon his return after attending the oath-taking ceremony as the state's lone representative in the Upper House of Parliament.
Senior BJP leaders, party workers and supporters felicitated Tagak, expressing pride and confidence in his leadership and commitment to serve the people of Arunachal Pradesh at the national level.
Interacting with party karyakartas, Tagak appreciated their efforts in strengthening the organisation across the state. As a gesture of commitment to the party, he contributed one month's salary in advance to the BJP Arunachal Pradesh unit.
