Dimapur, Aug. 20 -- Nagaland's lone Lok Sabha MP S Supongmeren Jamir on Thursday called upon all departmental heads to remain accessible and responsive to the needs of the public.
He also called upon officers to ensure that the authority entrusted to them is not misused but exercised responsibly and in the larger interest of the district.
Chairing the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting at the Zunheboto DC's conference hall, Jamir stressed the importance of officers being present at their respective places of posting and working with dedication for the welfare and development of the district.
