New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Member of Parliament Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Tuesday graced the 83rd Balidan Diwas as Chief Guest at the Parliament Complex, where the Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangha organized an inspiring gathering to mark this historic day.
"Balidan Diwas is a solemn reminder of the unmatched valour, patriotism, and selfless sacrifice that our Gorkha community has always dedicated to the nation. The supreme sacrifice of Veer Shaheed Major Durga Malla will forever inspire generations to serve the country with pride, courage, and unity," he said.
Bringing members of the Gorkha community together from across the country, the event paid tribute to the valour and sacrifices of the Gorkhas in service to Mother India.
