Hyderabad, June 17 -- Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender, along with former MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and other BJP leaders, on Wednesday inspected the arrangements for the International Yoga Day celebrations to be held at Parade Grounds under the leadership of union Minister G Kishan Reddy.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Etela said India had gifted yoga, culture and civilisation to the world and earned the status of a "Vishwa Guru" (Global Teacher). He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had introduced yoga to the global stage with the vision of promoting peace, good health and harmony in society.
