Bhopal, June 30 -- A cook at the house of a retired IPS officer and his IPL-player son at Bhopal has alleged that the father-son duo thrashed and abused him, while the officer's son has denied the allegations countering that the cook made videos of their house including the bedrooms where expensive items were kept and sent the footage to some people.

On the complaint of the cook, the police at the Ratibad Police Station have registered a case against the IPS officer, his son and their driver.

The incident involves Madhya Pradesh Retired Special Director General of Police Shailesh Singh, and his Punjab Kings IPL-star son Shashank Singh.
