Bhopal, March 26 -- More than 160 people fell ill with suspected food poisoning after consuming dinner at a wedding in a village of Sehore district in Madhya Pradesh.
The incident was reported from village Bawadiya-Noabad in the Ichawar tehsil of the district late night Wednesday.
Most of the affected persons developed symptoms of stomach ache, vomiting, and diarrhoea. They started pouring into the Ichawar Community Health Centre from Wednesday night.
The doctors there alerted the senior Health department officials.
Subsequently, teams of doctors, nurses and paramedics were rushed to the community health centre.
Doctors informed that all of the affected persons were treated and they are all out of danger.
