Bhopal, April 22 -- In continuation of the controversy surrounding the marriage of Prayagraj Mahakumbh fame blue-eyed girl from Madhya Pradesh to a Muslim man Farmaan Khan in Kerala, the man has reportedly told a team of Madhya Pradesh Police that she is a month pregnant and hence cannot come to record her statements with the police, as doctors have advised her complete bed rest.
The team of Madhya Pradesh police is currently camping in Kerala investigating the allegations from the girl's family of 'love jihad' and also complaints that she was a minor when she got married to Farmaan in Kochi, Kerala, on 11 March this year.
The police are trying to record the statements of the girl to proceed further with the investigation.
