Bhopal, April 6 -- Four youths were killed and eight seriously wounded after their SUV rammed at a high-speed into a truck while they were returning to Indore from a wedding function at Ashta in Madhya Pradesh in the wee hours of today.
As per the police, the incident occurred at around 1.20 am on the highway near the trenching ground of Devguradia.
The baraat, along with the newly-wed bride started its journey back from Ashta to Indore at around 10 pm in different vehicles.
Some of the survivors told police that at the fatal spot, the driver of the truck (MP 41 GA 0949) overtook a car ahead at a high speed, but for some reason suddenly applied heavy brakes in the middle of the road.
