Bhopal, June 23 -- The opposition Congress in Madhya Pradesh today demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav over reports of the land owned by the CM's family increasing from a reported 100 acres to 335 acres during his two-and-a-half year tenure as CM since December 2023.
Addressing a press conference here, MP Congress chief Jitu Patwari termed the allegations as a "loot".
Patwari demanded that the CM must immediately clarify the allegations. He questioned how the land owned by Yadav and his family members swelled from 100 acres to 335 acres in this period.
He also demanded a fair and independent probe into the matter by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court.
