Bhopal, May 14 -- Marking the completion of three years of the 'Laadli Behna Yojana' in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav today disbursed the scheme's 36th installment of Rs 1,835 crore into the bank accounts of 1.25 crore beneficiary women.

The CM transferred the amount by a single click, at a grand Laadli Behna function held at village Mungwani in the Narsinghpur district of the state.

Dr Yadav asserted that the respect and welfare of mothers and sisters is the top priority of the BJP state government. He noted that the Laadli Behna Yojana is one of the major schemes aimed at benefiting women.
