Bhopal, July 12 -- Emphasizing that women are the top priority in the state government's welfare agenda, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav today transferred more than Rs 1,835 crore to over 1.25 crore women beneficiaries as the 38th installment of the Laadli Behna Yojana.
Women beneficiaries receive Rs 1,500 monthly as financial assistance in MP under the scheme.
Addressing a state-level programme at Lahar in Bhind district, Dr Yadav said the state government was committed to women's empowerment.
Yadav said the government is working for the welfare of women, youth, farmers and the poor and announced that the Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva would be launched soon to improve public transport facilities across the state. He als...
