Pune, April 20 -- A public movement opposing the Maharashtra government's proposed sub-categorisation of Scheduled Castes (SC) reservation has gained significant momentum with more than 33,000 objections submitted via email to the administration.
The campaign, led by the Maharashtra Scheduled Caste Reservation Sub-Categorisation Review Committee (Padmapani Foundation), along with support from various political parties, organisations, and institutions across the state, reflects growing public awareness and concern over the issue.
