Gorakhpur, March 27 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that hooliganism will not be tolerated in the state, adding he has directed police officers to ensure immediate and strict action in cases involving bullying and harassment.
During his visit to Gorakhpur on Friday, the Chief Minister listened to the grievances of people from various districts during 'Janta Darshan' at the Gorakhnath temple complex.
During the session, several petitioners complained of threats and harassment by local bullies. Responding firmly, the Chief Minister asserted that stern action must be taken against such elements.
