Mumbai, June 10 -- The makers have unveiled the motion poster of the period drama "Batwara 1947", offering audiences a poignant glimpse into one of the most turbulent chapters in the subcontinent's history.
The film stars Sunny Deol in the lead role and is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi. Apart from Sunny Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal, Abhimanyu Singh, Khushi Hazare and Kanika Kapoor will also be seen in important roles in the film.
