Atul KrishanNew Delhi, June 23 -- A large number of coaching institutes in the national capital are operating without a Fire Safety Certificate (FSC), according to Rajendra Atwal, Divisional Officer of the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).
Speaking to UNI in an exclusive interview, Atwal said that while some institutes have obtained the required Fire Safety Certificate, a majority are still functioning without it.
He explained that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has launched a dedicated portal through which coaching institutes seeking mandatory permissions can apply.
