Dehradun, Aug. 10 -- Uttarakhand's Northern and North Eastern Himalayan region were jolted by a strong earthquake with magnitude of more than 4 Richter early today, forcing the people to rush out of their homes in panic during wee hours around 2 AM.
Large parts of Uttarkashi and Tehri in Garhwal region were rattled by the tremor but no loss of life or properties was reported from any quarter.
