Beirut, June 1 -- More than 3,400 people have been killed in Lebanon since fighting erupted between Israel and Hezbollah on March 2, according to the latest figures released by Lebanon's health ministry.
As per Beirut, at least 3,433 people have died due to the conflict between the IDF and the Islamist group, while an additional 10,395 have been wounded since the beginning of the war. The IDF likewise has lost over 26 soldiers in its operations against the Iran-backed Islamist militia.
Israeli forces have steadily expanded their ground operations in the county in recent weeks, pushing deeper into Lebanese territory and capturing vital strategic positions beyond the immediate border area.
