Ottawa, Aug. 20 -- Canada will continue their search for a new men's head coach after the departure of Monty Desai.
Desai was appointed in May in his second stint with the team and oversaw two ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series, one on home soil and one in Scotland.
With four matches of their campaign to go, the side sit six points outside of the top four spots and staring down the barrel of playing in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off, a repecharge event to decide four spots for the Qualifier on the road to the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027.
The stint was Desai's second with the team, having coached the side back in 2019 during their World Cricket League 2 campaign in Namibia, according to ICC.
